TawAir is the brainchild of Jamie Nemeth, who decided that Pontardawe needed its own radio station. TawAir is that station! The nearest full-time community radio stations currently in operation are Radio Tircoed (Swansea West) and XS (formerly Afan FM, Neath & Port Talbot), both of which are significantly distanced and geographically separated from Pontardawe and the Swansea Valley.
